In the centre of this historic town, a family already lived in this 16th century house. It became a little worn out and a renovation was neccessary. Normally, this kind of houses are often protected. Also this house, but only on the outside. On the inside the architect got bold and opted for a quite radical renovation. Unusual door openings, a 'mirror shed' fot their bikes, and a white steel staircase were the main elements. Added with some design furniture, the interior contrasts with the outside. In the back a pavillion was made. Good for summer parties and winter movie evenings.
